A 26" x 24" x 60" x .003 gusseted bag is simply a pleat made into a bag; they have sides that balloon out to hold the product in a box shape. When you place your product into a gusseted bag, you are squaring the bottom and eliminating what are commonly referred to as dog ears -the corners of the plastic bag that would otherwise stick out.
